In this project the values of the client and those of our practice came together to create a handcrafted and artsy environment filled with natural light. The emphasis in this project is on creating an ambience that elevates food into a beautiful experience - healthy, comfortable and authentic. Built within the Chandigarh city center blocks, the architecture and design pays homage to Corbusier and Jeanneret. Warm sunlight fills the cafe during the day and handcrafted lamps, ceramics and the smell of coffee make the visit a complete experience in the evenings. This has become a destination for many artists, musicians, creatives, professionals and noteworthy business people, alike. 

 

Furniture is from various woods, e.g. Indian Teak, Sheesham, Yellow Cedar and natural cane. We have lovingly worked with the natural grain of the wood and traditional weaves in cane. Patrons can choose between a low seating corner, Indoor table and chair or bar stool seating and outdoor bench seating.
